Fascia
The fasicas is the long, straight board that runs along the lower edge of your roof. It’s mounted where the roof meets the outer walls of the house. The fasicas supports the lower edge of the roof tiles and holds the guttering system in place.
Soffit
The soffit is tucked underneath the fasicas and sits perpendicular to the wall of your house. It closes the gap between the fasicas and the wall and helps ventilate the attic space to prevent moisture build-up.
